President Rafael Correa’s work was described as “very good” and “good” by 65% and 67% of people surveyed in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca, the largest cities in the country, according to a poll published Wednesday by the Investigations and Specialized Studies Center (Ciees).

Positive descriptions for the head of state’s work after eight years in charge of the government reached 65% with 53% considering his work as “good” and 13% as “very good”, while 28% described it as “very bad”.  2% replied in the category “does not know or does not answer.”
